The Championship game between Cardiff City and Crystal Palace at Ninian Park on Saturday, Oct 17 2009.
Cardiff City manager Dave Jones insisted there is not a personal vendetta between himself and Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock as tempers flared between the two clubs for the second game running.
Both managers were sent to the! stands at the last meeting of the teams seven months ago and again the sides clashed at the full-time whistle with both sets of players squaring up to each other in the tunnel.
Afterwards Jones said: "I will let the authorities deal with what happened after the game."
Jones sought to play down the rift between the sides and said Palace's physical approach on the pitch was no cause for concern. "I have never known any difference in the way Neil plays his teams," Jones added.
"I am not knocking that, it has been a way that he has played. I'm not saying whether it is right or wrong. It was a physical game and we do have history with them and the history will continue.
"I am good friends with Neil. I haven't got a problem with him, the game is done and finished. I have a lot of time and respect for him."
On the field, Warnock's men are fast becoming the side to avoid as Palace str! etched their unbeaten run to five games.
They took t! he lead when Alan Lee's header was diverted in off Cardiff captain Mark Hudson, only for the home side to hit back thanks to the efforts of Chris Burke.
After ploughing forward the midfielder squared the ball to team-mate Peter Whittingham, who tucked his shot beyond Julián Speroni.
Freddie Sears and Stern John both headed wide for the visitors after the break while Whittingham and Ledley each squandered opportunities to secure the win for high-flying Cardiff.
"I think it was all just hot air and they [Cardiff] were disappointed at not winning," admitted Warnock. "That's why the things that were said were said in the tunnel but I'm sure they wouldn't have been said if Cardiff had won. It's not our fault if people wait for us in the tunnel."
